UCO Wins Because Joel and Jen Attend

Jennifer and I went to Oklahoma City (plus suburbs Edmond and Midwest City) to visit the family over the weekend and watch UCO beat Northwestern 31-26 (Game Story).
By the way, if anyone ever refers to Oklahoma City as Oak City, you will know right away that they have never been there. Oklahoma City's only nickname is OKC.
Here's some photos from before the game.

After the game, we walked around campus. I got a copy of The Vista. I was the sports editor for that newspaper back in college.

The college radio station (KUCO-FM 99.9) flipped from Alternative as Z99 to top-40 as Z-100. That's really cool. I wasn't on KUCO very much. I never was a broadcasting major (surprise!) and I was working at 91 FM when I did take some radio classes.

After the game, we went to Braum's for some ice cream. The closest Braum's to KC is in Emporia, KS (about 100 miles from where we live).
Braum's makes everything better.
