Live From The Mix Production Studio

So, I've lasted two days as a CBS Radio employee. Things have been hectic.

Jennifer and I spent all day Saturday looking for a house to rent. It rained -- a lot. Pray for us. The house finding mission has not been going our way, so far.

Goodbye

I left my job at Citadel today. Very sad. Those people were like my second family. Here's one last look at my desk.

Now, on to KC.
Thanks for your prayers.

This Weekend at Joel's House

It's a party! Not really. Since I'm moving, I have to start working on moving the "studio."
This isn't gonna be fun.

Look at that mess! How did a cassette get back there?

It's not much to look at, but I will assure you -- there are a lot of wires and cords.
It's also my last Sunday at our church (Quail Springs Baptist Church). I am going to miss everyone there.

Last Show On KISS

For those interested, my last show on 98.9 KISS FM is scheduled to be this Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. I probably won't say anything about leaving the station.

Thanks again for listening to KISS.

A New Chapter

After nearly seven years with 98-9 KISS FM and WWLS The Sports Animal here in Oklahoma City, I have resigned to take on a new challenge.
I have accepted the Production Director Position at KMXV (Mix 93.3) in Kansas City.
My first day is in a couple weeks. My wife, Jennifer, will join me in KC as soon as she is done teaching her summer semester classes.
I am grateful to Larry Bastida, Chris Baker and everyone at Citadel Oklahoma City for the opportunities. KISS and WWLS have the best listeners and I will miss them dearly. Being a lifelong resident of the OKC metro area, I will miss my family and the best friends in the world.
Thank you.

Ch-Ch-Changes

Come back and I'll tell you about some changes in my life.
